There was a hurricane in the Atlantic that hit Bermuda over the weekend. The beaches were swarming with sea birds. The population of birds was more then normal. Dolphins were swimming in Matazanas River at Washington Oaks. I sit and watch them for a few minutes.

Fort Matanzas Nature Trail Boardwalk
Fort Matanzas has a large conservation area on the beach. The park has a nature trail boardwalk for people to use to walk over to the beach. The deck protects the wildlife, sand dunes and vegetation. These photos were taken at sunset.

The Sun Peeking at Crescent Beach
The sky was too cloudy to allow the sun to rise brightly on this particular morning. It created interesting cloud and sky formations in the struggle of the sun peeking through the dense clouds.

Chambers Island Lighthouse
I actually was more interested in the grounds and surrounded shoreline then the actual lighthouse. There was a fog over the lake and visibility was poor. An old tool shed was on the property and several entrances to trails down to the beach. It is located on Chambers Island in Door County, Wisconsin.
Crossing Crescent Beach Bridge
On the drive to Crescent Beach, one must drive over the 206 Bridge. The bridge was drawn so a cargo boat could pass through. The storm clouds were resting on top of Matanzas River this morning.
Crossing the Bar
by Lord Alfred Tennyson
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.

Golden Glow of Butler Beach
Several pictures of the landscape at Butler Beach I took during my morning walk of sea oats, walk ways, and sand dunes.
