Whom Shall I Fear?
Psalm 27 "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"

Copper Harbor Light house
Copper Harbor Light House is located in the harbor of Copper Harbor, Michigan on the Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Michigan inside Fort Wilkins Historic State Park. It was a very windy day and cloudy. My favorite poet all through high school was Edgar Allen Poe and his poem "In a kingdom by the sea...' of Annabel Lee.
Annabel Lee
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea,
But we loved with a love that was more than love—
I and my Annabel Lee—
With a love that the wingèd seraphs of Heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,
Went envying her and me—
Yes!—that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we—
Of many far wiser than we—
And neither the angels in Heaven above
Nor the demons down under the sea
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling—my darling—my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea—
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

Eagle Harbor Light House
When we visited this lighthouse, it was a very chilly and windy day. The doors were difficult to open and when I did, the wind slammed the door against the building and I had a hard time closing the door. You could hear the wind slamming against the building and the windows were making crackling sounds. I kept reminding myself it was a lighthouse and would be strong enough to handle the wind gusts. Eagle Harbor Light is a working lighthouse at Eagle Harbor, in Keweenaw County in the state of Michigan

Chambers Island Lighthouse
I actually was more interested in the grounds and surrounded shoreline then the actual lighthouse. There was a fog over the lake and visibility was poor. An old tool shed was on the property and several entrances to trails down to the beach. It is located on Chambers Island in Door County, Wisconsin.

The Light-Keeper
The Light-Keeper
by Robert Louis Stevenson
by Robert Louis Stevenson
The brilliant kernel of the night,
The flaming lightroom circles me:
I sit within a blaze of light
Held high above the dusky sea.
Far off the surf doth break and roar
Along bleak miles of moonlit shore,
Where through the tides the tumbling wave
Falls in an avalanche of foam
And drives its churned waters home
Up many an undercliff and cave.
